Our experience was absolutely "love-ly!" The gentleman who waited on us, Chris Wiley, was very helpful and quite gracious as we went through the lying-down-testing process. From our comments, he explained all types, brands, and costs, recognized our need for a firmer mattress, noted it was I who was more tentative, gave us time to evaluate, and helped it all aspects of the sale. Their business approach to the sale of mattresses, guarantees, and, record keeping speak volumes for their genuine concern for customer satisfaction. I appreciated the explanation of process if I had any difficulty. The trendy word "transparency" applies to this company. I also appreciated the free book that celebrates God displayed in the entrance way. An amazingly wonderful business model.

After shopping at 3 other local stores, we arrived at The Sleep Zone, and wished we would have gone there first! Large selection of mattresses and bases, and helpful staff. After searching big box stores for several days, we finally stopped in at The SleepZone and in a matter of minutes we found exactly what we were looking for. They had the brand we wanted and offered more styles. Other stores did not even mention other styles of our chosen brand. We went into the store just to check out options a few weeks ago. We were not sure if we were actually buying or not. The salesperson, Chris, was wonderful!! He did not pressure us and was patient, even knowing that we were window shopping. Due to this, and him calling to thank us for coming in, we decided to purchase from them. He treated us the same as before even with us trying out the same options of mattresses and bases as before. On top of this, they gave us a discount for my husband’s military service. Wonderful store to shop at. Steve greeted me and I explained what my sleeping habits are. He narrowed down which mattress would be best for me. After looking at several brands and types I picked out a Sealy Hybrid. I received the mattress set yesterday and the delivery team were professional and explained how to use the adjustable frame controls. Upon entering the store we received a quick and friendly greeting by Steve, the Sales Manager, who was a great help in assisting us in narrowing our mattress search. He easily explained the differences between each style and their associated prices, giving us ample opportunity to try, and retry, each style. Although it was later in the evening on Saturday, Steve was able to arrange delivery by Monday afternoon. Delivery was equally as easy as the purchase. Overall, a delightful mattress buying experince.

My wife and I went into SleepZone to buy a new bed and were greeted by Steve, a sleep consultant. After a couple of questions Steve was pointing us in the direction of a mattress that was practical for our sleep needs (I have back problems) and also affordable. One excellent quality Steve possessed is after showing us our best options he left my wife and I alone to discuss our thoughts privately and to take our time in making our decision. We typically dread dealing with salesmen, but Steve was very personable, knew the products exceedingly well, and believe it or not he gave us advice that was good for my wallet and not the business! He said that we could place the mattress on plywood and didn't need to buy a box-spring (because we have a solid wood bed frame that is already elevated). This shows character because many times companies want to sell you the most expensive stuff whether you need it or not. We both felt like the experience was easy and positive. Regarding the delivery; we were explained that the warehouse would call when the mattress came in from the factory, and everything went exactly as we were told in the store. The gentleman from warehouse phoned and set up the delivery date and a 4 hour window for delivery. The morning of delivery and they deliverymen showed up within the first hour of the delivery window, were efficient in the physical delivery of the mattress, and they were very courteous. From purchase to delivery this was an overall great experience.

It was time to replace our Bragada Memory foam mattress after 10 years & I found they were no longer in business. We researched many manufacturers & visited many stores to no avail. Dropped into Sleep Zone and was instantly greeted by Chris Wiley at the Bristol Hwy, Johnson City, TN store. No pressure sales, we talked & he showed us mattresses that would fit our needs (and not just the most expensive). He was very knowledgeable about the products on hand and he sincerely wanted to make sure we got the mattress that fit our needs. We left & kept seeing other places. After a grueling amount of search we decided to return to where we felt COMFORTABLE...Sleep Zone! The prices were EXCELLENT, the service is TOP NOTCH & the delivery was ON TIME with no issues. I can honestly say that not only will I be returning for the replacements of our guest room, but will also be referring friends. Don't waste your time...start here!

This afternoon I went into the SleepZone mattress store looking to purchase a new mattress. I was a little overwhelmed looking at all the choices available. However, was promptly greeted by the store manager, Erik Biorck, with a with a warm and welcoming smile. He took the time to explain and demonstrate the differences between the mattresses and ask a lot of questions about my sleep patterns. After a few minutes, he steered me to a couple models that he felt would be best suited for my needs. With his help, I was able to select the PERFECT mattress! I also discovered that he is a Navy veteran who truly loved serving our country during his time as a sailor. We purchased a mattress tonight at the Sleep Zone in Johnson City. We walked in and were instantly greeted with a warm approach from Chris Wiley. He encouraged us to try several different beds and adjusted the beds up and down just like we might at home. He also made sure we had a pillow to try and make it as close to home as possible. Today, Oct. 17,2018 my husband, Charles and I purchased a mattress at Sleep Zone in Johnson City. I have to say the quality and comfort is second to none. Eric was very well versed on every product in their showroom. We told him the amt. we were prepared to pay , and he worked with us to stay within our budget. He gave us his undivided attention and showed us what he had to offer within our budget. We shopped several stores and found the very thing we had hoped to find at Sleep Zone. Eric is also a veteran , as is my husband and son. As expected, we actually bonded with Eric because of his knowledge in his present day field and the brotherhood among our veterans. Luckily a friend referred us to Sleep Zone Mattress Centers on the Bristol Highway recently and we decided to drop by and give them a shot. So we did. I"ll begin by saying that the service right through the door is very welcoming and warm. We were greeted during our visit by Erik Biorck who was very friendly and very much approachable. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the products that were on display in his business and really opened our eyes to what goes in to the make of a great quality mattress. He was not just there to try and sell us something, but rather go the extra extra mile to have us try different mattresses, learn about our likes and dislikes, and find a mattress that is perfect for us. We were cordially met by the store manager, Erik Biorck, He inquired of us what we were shopping for in a mattress (i.e. price range, softness level, medical issues, etc.). His knowledge was quite evident from his 10 years of experience with the company. After posing pertinent questions he showed us a range of product that he thought would meet mother's needs and encouraged us to test them and carefully demonstrated the use of the various remote controls for the adjustable bed supports. Being that the next day was a holiday sales day he encouraged us to make an appointment with him for the following day. That night at 10:00 Erik responded to a text message confirming our requested appointment time. The next day I took mother to the store where Erik graciously spent time with her insuring that she picked the mattress that she felt was the best for her. We could not have asked for more from a salesperson.

We tried out multiple mattresses until we found one we liked within our price range. Eric gave us a great demonstration of the moveable bed rest that lets you raise the head and legs. He gave us more information during this demonstration than any of the sales people we talked to at two other area furniture stores. In fact we liked this moveable bed rest very much, and felt that it would help my husband's acid reflux and low back and hip pain, and we ended up buying one. We really liked the fact that the store has a wide range of mattress types to try out and informed and helpful salesmen. What sold us in the end, was the fact that the sales people know their products well, were able to speak to us knowledgeably about them, and the evident good quality products. They are always really friendly to us every time we visit. He greeted my children and I as we walked through the door and asked us how our day was going. Erik also interacted with my children and asked them how their Christmas was. He then proceeded to ask what size mattress I was looking for and I advised him and then told him how much I was able to work with. He advised me of the deals they were running for the holidays. Sleep Zone has really great deals. I love the mattresses from here. I had previously purchased a queen size and it is great. I will continue doing business with Sleep Zone because of their friendly staff like Erik and the great prices. In my book they have a 5 star rating. He knew exactly what he was talking about it and I really loved the fact that he was most concerned about what I would be most comfortable on. Erik asked my personal preferences and to be honest I wasn't really sure what I needed but he sent me in the right direction. I tried out a few beds and by process of elimination Erik set me up with the perfect bed. He couldnt have made things easier or more fun. This experience is memorable to me because to hit his point home about one bed he stood on the bed and bounced and i never even heard him (my back was turned) it was so great. He asked my son if he liked toys, and he had toys in the corner that he could play with while we shopped. Erik then asked us what we liked in a mattress, and my husband responded, this is the first time we have ever shopped for a mattress. So then he told us to try out one mattress and see if it was too firm or too soft and go from there. (The whole time he was making my son laugh while my husband and I were making a decision.) We did like a mattress there but decided to check around some more.My husband talked to the owner and we decided that we would go check it out today. Erik Biorck greeted us as soon as we walked in and was very friendly and professional. I told him that we were in the market for a mattress because my back is in serious pain from our current mattress. He asked about price because he didn't want to get us into a mattress that we love but cannot afford. I thought that was great because we didn't want that to happen either.He began by showing me the difference in the coils. I had no clue there was a difference but I do now. We tried out different styles from medium plush to extra plush. He did not force a sale but just asked how I honestly felt and told me how to feel the difference which was great so I would know which one to pick. He then took us to the cool therapy bed for us to try and it was an absolute dream.After picking the mattress he then showed us the adjustable base and let me tell you, that is an amazing feature and so is the massage feature!! He then let us just lay there for a bit without being over us for us to decide on what we wanted to do. Which honestly didn't take any convincing because we were already set on that we wanted.Erik Biorck was AMAZING!!! 1st and best experience on buying a mattress!! We had our two younger children and when they got a little rowdy he was amazing! He even got them each a balloon and a piece of candy! Erik was very friendly, VERY KNOWLEDGABLE and very professional.If you want a high quality mattress and have someone show you a great experience in buying a Mattress, then SleepZone is where you need to go. I went into The Sleep Zone several times over the course of about a year. I was never pressured to buy and always helped when asked, but never 'stalked' like you get at some other mattress stores. They even knew what mattress we were most likely interested in and the size. No wonder they have such a good rating. I hadn't met the owner before, but he was gracious and quite helpful too. He gracefully handled me and a walk-in customer simultaneously.

The mattress is great and affordable and when I came in the next day to tpick it up, he remembered my name. It was so nice to feel like he was there to help but not pushy at all. Plus, he was upfront about delivery time (I came in on a Sunday and his delivery guys were booked on Monday. I was going out of town on Tuesday and wanted to come home to a bed late Friday night.) and when I decided to come get it myself, he and another employee helped us get it into the truck. I was thinking about getting a mattress online, but for anyone new to the area like me, I'd recommend SleepZone instead.

A requirement was that the mattress could not be deeper than 10 inches to fit the fitted sheets we have.After considering the products/prices/customer assistance at the seven retailers, we cut the list to the top three. On our return visits to those three, we looked closer at the the products, prices, and how we were assisted as we looked.We thought about what we had learned on the second visits and decided to purchase from Sleep Zone in Johnson City.The set was not the least expensive of those we could have purchased, but the product seemed to be the one we wanted. In addition, Thomas provided the best customer service, answered our questions, and in general made us feel at home in the store. In our opinion he went above and beyond what we experienced in other shops.We would recommend that you visit Sleep Zone and give them the opportunity to provide you with a good night's sleep.
